Lip Gloss-poppin rapper Lil Mama, whose real name is Niatia Jessica Kirkland has lost her mother after a long battle with cancer. Lil Mama received the news of her mother’s passing while at an Atlanta concert and she immediately returned to New York City. Tyra Kirkland was diagnosed with cancer in 2003.
